(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Beninese President and African Union Chief Thomas Boni Yayi stressed the need for a restructuring of the current world order to give a fair share of the world management to all nations, and said Africa enjoys the necessary capacity to play a strong role on the international scene. "Africa is determined to control its fate and play its role in global management in a bid to revive hope among African nation," he said, addressing the NAM summit here in Tehran on Thursday."We in Africa have great capacities," he added, praising the slogan and title of the NAM Summit, i.e. Joint Management of the World.Other world leaders also stressed the importance of joint global management at the NAM summit in Tehran.In relevant remarks today, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also strongly criticized the current world order, saying that all nations are discontent at with the status quo and a fundamental change is needed in the world management.Addressing the NAM summit in Tehran, Ahmadinejad stated that all the world nations are discontent with the current world conditions, and noted, "The historical and common causes and wishes of man, that is, removal of poverty, discrimination, threat, humiliation and war have not materialized yet."Indian Prime Minister Manmoham Singh, too, underlined the necessity for managing the world through collective cooperation among all countries."Joint world management is a responsibility and a must today and we need it for a fair peace," Singh said, underscoring the necessity for creating a multilateral system for managing the world. /129
